Website HelpUse the Main Menu located on the left side of the web page to browse around. Move your mouse cursor over the word of the menu item and left-click. If it does not take you to a new page, make sure the cursor is over the word and not just the box itself. The Main Menu will be on every page for easy browsing. There are 4 main categories to the website. Home, Shop, Service, and Help. The Home category is where you will find information about JM Steno, including customer comments (in the "About Us" portion of the website). The "Home Page" is the first page you see when you enter our website. The Shop category is where you can purchase any of our items. Left-click "Shop Online" to enter our shopping cart. Left-click "writers" to see information about our writers. Left-click "Computers" to see more information about our computers. And left-click "Software" to see our Court Reporting software's available. Our Service category is where you can inquire about all of the services JM Steno has to offer. Left-click "Writer Services" to check prices on getting your writer cleaned. Left-click "Computer Services" to see what computer services are available. Please note we do testing, virus removal, physical cleaning, repairs (including LCD & Hard Drive repairs), upgrades, etc. The last category is the Help category. First on the list is "e-mail". Left-click this link to use our form-based e-mail system. All this means is that you can send us an e-mail directly from our website. Choose which department you would like to e-mail (Computers, Writers, Sales, or the Webmaster). The webmaster is the designer of this website. Use this e-mail for any website comments/questions you may have. Next is our "Forum". You can consider this a computer bulletin board. Here you can post messages to our other customers. One hot topic is buying/selling court reporting equipment (done outside of JM Steno). You can also post questions for your Court Reporting software here. And last is "FAQ". This can be one of the most helpful sections for reporters. FAQ stands for Frequently Asked Questions. JM Steno has posted questions that are frequently asked by reporters. We include detailed explanations for each FAQ. This is a great place to start if you have questions on anything from what to look for in new laptops to the differences between writers. If you have a question you think should be posted there, e-mail it to us!
